Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
We believe that God wants us to take care of our bodies. If you read the verse above it is obvious, isn’t it? We believe, though, that our spirituality may be better seen on the football field where competitiveness produces the highest challenge of our character rather than during a Sunday meeting where the tests are more subtle. For many of us football is a means to personal development where you learn patience and what loving your rivals and those closest to you actually signifies. All together, it is a good way of making friends and a time to forget about stress and to be ourselves. The church is not a building, it is not a place or a club – it is a group of people. We are the church of Christ all the time, wherever we go, and we believe that in a competitive environment our light can shine brightly.
Therefore, guys, we are waiting for you on the field where your acts are more important than words, in a competitive and spiritual way.
In summertime we usually play in the courtyard at Ghe Sincai High school on Saturday evenings. If you want to participate please contact us
